We are successfully implementing a programme called 'ENCORE'( Education,     Nurturing and Creation of right Environment) for children. With help from       Corporate donors such as the Tech Mahindra Foundation, and individual donors,     we provided for educational and Co- Curricalar materials for the children.    Consequently, our children have improved their, academic performance       considerably. Our children hardly ever passed the State Scholarship Examination
      before 2006. From 2006on, hardly any have failed in it.

 Making use of the Science Exploratory, they have participated and won prizes in      regional and District Level Science Exhibitions.

 The Library has been created. All children use the books and have improved      their reading skills and knowledge. Some have won prizes in local competitions.

 Children have learnt DTP, screen-printing, fashion Designing, Beauty Parlour      Service and to make eco-friendly bags, cards, etc. This will create an opportunity      for them to get out of traditional exploitative professions and live a life of dignity      and financial independance.

 All our children use the computers comfortably. This year our first two batches of      students have passed the MSCIT and MKCL'S DTP examination with a success      rate of 100% !

 When Prof. Wagh decided to start a hostel and school for disadvantaged      children, he had to visit the shanty towns around Pune and urge the residents to      send their children to school. Today, after thirty years of building a relationship,      parents from as far as Bijapur, Gulbarga, Dhulia and Aurangabad throng to the      school in June for admitting their children.

 All year round, we conduct activities such as vermiculture farming, science      exhibition, sports day, medical camp and summer and winter vacation camp.
